Muslim comedian sits next to Eric Trump on flight

A flight to remember. New Yorkcomedian Mo Amer was on a
flight toScotland and posted an Instagram postabout being "randomly" chosen to sitnext to Eric Trump. Apparently, the president-elect's songave the Muslim comedian a reason tobreathe a sigh of relief.

 "Good news guys, Muslims will not have to check in and get IDs. That's what I was told," Amer wrote in the Instagram post. He added: "Sometimes God just sends you the material." In an interview with BuzzFeed, Amer opened up about his encounter.

 "Is this real? Is this a setup? I mean, I'man Arab-Palestinian, everything is aconspiracy, right?" the comedian told BuzzFeed. Amer told Trump he thought his fatherhad played the media like a fiddle, and knew the inside tricks that "created this firestorm," to which he said Trump replied:
"Yeah you're absolutely right," according to BuzzFeed.
