has said that Imo State in five years recorded the highest number of applicants for
university admission in the country
He said records between 2012-2016 placedthe state in the leading position of other states in the country. Prof. Oloyede said this when he paid a courtesy visit to Governor Rochas Okorocha with his team at the government house, Owerri recently.
He said: “For the five years under review, Imo State has remained on top.”
After the recent JAMB second Technical Committee on the 2016 Admissions Exercise at Owerri, he said in 2012, Imo had a total of 123,865 applications to be on top of the table with Delta State which has 88,876 coming second.
